VID-EX is the intrinsically safe flashing visual indicating device: monitored, and ATEX approved. It carries no EN 54-23 approval, so it cannot be relied on where a coverage-rated beacon is specified.

One 764746 barrier drives either one sounder or two strobes, which is usually what sets the barrier count.
