Gent by Honeywell

Gent Fire Alarm Manuals & Technical Documentation

Where to find official installation, commissioning, operating and user documentation for the Gent by Honeywell range — Nano, Vigilon, conventional Xenex and S-Quad. We index the official sources and supply documentation with equipment orders.

The short version

Official sources, indexed — and documents with every order.

We supply the full Gent by Honeywell range across the UK, and this page indexes where to find official installation, commissioning, operating and user documentation for each product family. The documents themselves come from official Honeywell sources — we do not host copies here.

We also supply Gent documentation — installation and operation manuals and datasheets — with equipment orders, and can usually provide the current revision on request to trade customers. If you need a specific document, call 0844 997 0001, use the contact form, or request a quote and we will point you to the right source or send it over.

Documentation index

Manuals and datasheets by Gent family.

Gent Nano panel manuals

The Gent Nano 24 is Gent's compact single-loop addressable panel, and the documents installers ask for are the user and operating manual, the installation and commissioning documentation, and the panel datasheet. Current-revision documentation is published through Honeywell's own channels — start at the official Honeywell Gent documentation pages. On our side, see the Gent Nano range for the panel in context, or go straight to the NANO-24 panel. Can't find the document or revision you need? Contact us and we'll send the current version.

Gent Vigilon & Vigilon Plus manuals

Vigilon is Gent's networkable addressable platform, running one to four loops per panel with repeat panels and network nodes on larger estates. Panel user and commissioning documentation covers both the current Vigilon Plus and the legacy Vigilon it replaced. Official documents sit on the Honeywell Gent documentation pages. From us, see the Vigilon Plus fire panel range and the Vigilon Plus panel spares for the hardware the documentation refers to. Can't find the document or revision you need? Contact us and we'll send the current version.

Gent conventional & Xenex panel manuals

Gent Xenex conventional panels — in 2, 4 and 8 zone formats — remain in service across many smaller sites, and the conventional panel manual, installation guide and datasheet are the documents most often requested. PDF copies of current-revision documents are available from Honeywell's official channels, or from us on request with an order. Official documentation starts at the Honeywell Gent documentation pages; our hardware sits in the conventional & Xenex panel range. Can't find the document or revision you need? Contact us and we'll send the current version.

S-Quad detector & device datasheets

The S-Quad (S4) family — multi-sensor detectors, sounders, VADs and bases — is documented through datasheets and installation guides rather than panel manuals. These cover device addressing, mounting and the sensor options on each base. Official datasheets are published on the Honeywell Gent documentation pages. On our side, browse the S-Quad detector range and the S4 detector range for the devices the datasheets describe. Can't find the document or revision you need? Contact us and we'll send the current version.

Gent software & commissioning tools

Commissioning tools, panel software and configuration utilities are handled separately from documentation. For those, see our Gent fire alarm software & commissioning tool page, and WinMag graphics software for PC-based graphical monitoring. This manuals index deliberately stays on documentation — software downloads, versions and how-to guidance live on the tool page, not here.

Request documentation

Tell us the panel — we'll find the paperwork.

Every equipment order ships with the relevant Gent documentation, and we can usually supply manuals and datasheets to trade customers on request, where the current revision is available. Tell us the panel or device and the document you need: call 0844 997 0001, use the contact form, or request a quote and we'll include the paperwork. For anything we can't send directly, we'll point you to the official Honeywell source. No prices online — every quote is priced for the job in hand.

FAQ

Gent manuals & documentation questions.

Where can I download the Gent Nano manual?

Current Gent Nano documentation is published through Honeywell's official Gent channels, and we can also supply it with equipment orders or on request to trade customers. Start at the official Honeywell Gent pages or see our Gent Nano range, and call 0844 997 0001 if you need a specific revision sent over.

Is there a PDF manual for Gent conventional panels?

Yes — current-revision PDF documentation for Gent conventional and Xenex panels is available from Honeywell's official channels, or from us on request with an order. See the conventional & Xenex panel range for the hardware, and contact us with the panel model to get the right document.

Can you supply manuals for older or discontinued Gent panels?

In most cases, yes — where a document still exists we can usually source the current revision for out-of-production Gent panels. Start at our legacy Gent support range and legacy panel accessories, or call with the panel model and we'll tell you what documentation is still available.
