Nothing here answers temperature, so a rising thermal signature alone raises no alarm at this address — worth stating plainly on any drawing where the part replaces a multisensor.

Compatibility
Mounts on the standard S4-700 base. Where heat sensing is wanted in an identical footprint, S4-710 adds a thermal element on channel 2 without altering the fixing.
Installation
Inside a duct assembly, that assembly's own instructions govern sampling arrangement and airflow direction; on a ceiling it is an ordinary base fixing.
