The S4-710 puts forward-scatter smoke sensing and a thermal element behind a single loop address. Its label reads OH, and a healthy panel shows channels 1 and 2 against it: optical, then heat.
One viewing angle gives the panel no forward-to-backward ratio, so this head cannot separate smoke from steam or dust as its dual-angle sibling does. Fit it where the risk is straightforward.

Compatibility
Twists onto the white S4-700 base; no ingress plate is needed on a silent head, though S4-701 supplies both where IP21C matters. Being white-bodied and silent, it accepts the S4-FLUSH semi-flush kit.
Installation
Wire the base first: its programmable input/output ships as an unmonitored output, driving a remote repeat LED with no series resistor over runs to 15 metres.
