The S4-711-V swaps the tone sounder for a voice unit while keeping O2H sensing intact. Channels 1, 2, 4 and 5 match the tone version, because channel 5 covers speech faults alongside sounder and VAD faults.
Standard flash memory holds up to twenty seconds of audio plus local complex attention tones such as the bell and DIN signals. The attention period is programmable — normally ten seconds, configurable as far as thirty.

Compatibility
Same ingress requirement as any sounding head: S4-701, or S4-705 over an existing S4-700. In black the identical device is S4BK-711-V; for tone instead of speech, S4-771-S.
Installation
Speech sequence length is a commissioning-tool setting ranging from ten to sixty seconds, so agree the message and its repeat cycle with the responsible person before the tool reaches site.
